• Chocolate chip cookies, flanked by iced sugar cookies: trees, stars, and holly leaves.
• Apricot bars. They're made with oats, so have to be good for you!
• Spiced molasses cookies: a favorite!
• From a German recipe, Spekulatius: flavored with cloves, cardamom, and cinnamon. Best dunked in a cup of coffee or tea, or a glass of eggnog.
• In the center, rum balls, a family recipe.
