Stollen
  • Stollen are traditional German sweet bread loaves prepared at this time of year. These are smaller than the traditional: two or three-bite-sized.
  • Flour, slivered almonds, eggs, lemon zest, yogurt, and butter, with a marzipan paste filling.
  • Our family has always baked the large stollen loaves at Christmas, but these smaller stollen are easier to give, and everyone can have one of their own!
Iced Sugar Cookies
  • Sugar cookies, covered with brightly-colored icing, are a fun part of any holiday. Whimsical shapes of trees, stars, holly leaves, and even a Bee can bring on a festive mood all by themselves.
  • Flour, sugar, and butter.
  • Have some fun this year with colorful sugar cookies!
